Official Launch of the 2015/16 Education 4 All Campaign

We are excited to welcome you back to another school year with Nukoko Education!

This September the United Nations will begin their post-2015 development agenda by launching the new Sustainable Development Goals. These will be a continuation of the eight Millennium Development Goals, of which Universal Primary Education and Gender Equality were the cornerstones of the establishment of Nukoko Education back in 2007.

I can’t tell you how excited I am to announce that we are once again launching our own campaign to raise funds for the education of primary aged girls in northern Togo. Our last fundraising campaign helped to sponsor the final year of primary education for our first cycle of girls. We saw them through the completion of six years of schooling, ran our own program evaluation report, and are ready to begin an entirely new cycle of girls entering into primary school.

Enrolment rates this year have drastically increased from other years, which is wonderful news, and so we are aiming to raise enough to supplement school fees for 116 girls, with a total of 224 girls receiving school materials. It is such a pleasure to ensure that access to education for these girls is made a reality.

We have just launched our new website, are stepping up our presence on social media, and have launched a crowdfunding campaign – this is all with the aim to improve the support we provide to the girls.

It’s with great anticipation that I invite you once again to sponsor a child’s education for this coming 2015/2016 school year. The cost of sponsorship is, as always, only $30 per girl. And hey, sponsorship is a great holiday gift for those of you thinking ahead!

Our deadline to sponsor will be September 30th, though I do encourage you to take action right away. Should you have any questions about the Education 4 All program or our sponsorship process, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support, and we look forward to providing you with even more information on the successes of our program this year!

Education 4 All Program Coordinator
